Environmental economics is considered as the sub-discipline of economics, deals with environmental issues. The branch of environmental economics has distinct characteristics from ecological economics, which presents the assumption of economy as a subsystem of the eco-system with the focus upon preserving natural capital, rejects human-made capital as an alternative of natural capital.
